Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village

I often stay here for work trips and this hotel is consistently excellent. The staff is superb and incredibly friendly. The rooms are spacious, up to date, and VERY clean. The housekeeping services are exceptional. Special shout to to Paola and Roseman for the mints and nice notes in the room as well. The hotel bar and restaurant is also great and convenient.

Since moving away from the Woodlands to Austin, the Marriott at City Place has become my home away from home. The location is beautiful and serene. The hotel is clean and modern. I appreciate the great service that I received on my most recent stay. I was given a quiet room upon request at checkin. When I went for a morning swim in the heated pool, a sweet and thoughtful staff member named Alberta brought me two towels to dry off with upon exiting the pool. As someone who worked in hospitality for nearly a decade, I can recognize extraordinary customer service when I see it! Thanks to everyone at the Marriott City Place for making me and family feel so welcome at your hotel during Thanksgiving weekend. I am grateful.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is new so everything is shiny and clean! It’s a very nice Marriott. My only complaint is I upgraded to M Club Lounge so I could have some light fare and snacks during my stay, only to find out the lounge only provides food Monday-Thursday. I stayed during the weekend so there was nothing in the lounge in the evening except drinks, some chips and nuts. So keep that in mind if you’re considering paying for lounge access.

Our experience at Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village was absolutely outstanding, and a massive shout-out goes to Julia and Charlsie for making it truly exceptional. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our staff meeting ran smoothly and felt welcoming, energetic, and stress-free. They were incredibly accommodating, supportive, and understanding of our team dynamic even allowing us to be ourselves and bring high energy to our meetings, which made all the difference. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for our experience did not go unnoticed. Julia and Charlsie didn’t just support our event they elevated it. Because of them, this location has set a new standard for hospitality and service. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village, especially if you’re fortunate enough to work with Julia and Charlsie. They are truly best-in-class.

Our rooms were clean and smoke-free, and we had a standard room along with a handicapped-accessible room connected by adjoining doors. The spacious common areas made it easy to enjoy the conference and still find quiet moments when I needed them.

So this is a very nice hotel, the location is also very upscale. Be prepared to spend some money to eat, as it is a expensive area, with no fast food or inexpensive places to eat nearby. To be honest the hotel is nice, the service is good as well, and if you are wanting something upscale the location is also good. But if you or someone who routinely carries a firearm for self-protection, Marriott hotels are not for you as they forbid it. For that reason alone I would not recommend any Marriott hotel, because they seem not to care for the safety of their guests, making sure that there are no good guys with guns allowed there to stop bad guys with guns.

We always use this hotel to put up our speakers in our local church. The hotel is beautiful and has lots of meeting rooms for any needs you may have. It’s location is great. There’s a coffee shop across the street. There a walking trail along a man made lake. It’s also conveniently located right off of i45 and the hardy tollway. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The hotel building itself is well kept and has a refreshing, welcoming atmosphere. It’s situated in a lovely area with a lake right outside and a nearby park that’s perfect for a relaxing walk. During the holiday season, the Christmas decorations add a warm and festive charm to the entire property. The only downside is that is quite far from Huoston downtown.
